Hey PPRs! It’s here! Finally! What we’ve
all been waiting for! The funkiest Scottish designer around, Louise Gray, has
created a beautiful six piece collection in collaboration with our favourite
high-street store, Topshop!
And what can we expect from this
ultimate pairing…Those amongst us who are familiar with Gray know that she is
infamous for her dazzlingly bright clashing colours, sparkles and shabby chic slouchiness
that brings an air of nonchalance to any outfit. Think ridiculous patterns that
clash oh-so badly but just work oh-so goodly!

This line with topshop includes
sequined trousers (top of my wishlist-I love a patterned or sequined trew, that’s
one thing that you will come to know about me in good time!), a jacket, two
tees and various vest-style and shift-style dresses all of which don either
stripes, dots or extremely funky smiley faces.
Gray said about her collection that
she made them ‘with dancing in mind [she] wants the Topshop girl to stay out
all night in it’! Gray’s mainline is quirky, fun and frivolous and the designer
has definitely brought that in a shed load to this collaboration.
Gray says that her favourite look
from the collection is the smiley face t-shirt dress paired with the matching
trousers, a veritable smorgasbord of sexy sequins that are designed to turn
heads everywhere!
Even better news for fans is that
this gorgeously cool icon, who is seen modelling the collection herself in the
campaign launched by Topshop, is also creating a make-up range with the
high-street giant at the same time as her clothing collab comes out. Again,
think party, party, party! The line is based on the style that the designer wears
on a daily basis and is a fabulously shimmering, delicious range of eyeshadows,
body glitter and nail varnishes…amongst other things!
The collection launches on the 23rd
of this month and promises to be phenomenal so I definitely recommend marking
the date on your calendar!
